Nutrition is the question your clients ask most, and the one you are least qualified to charge for. The regulated Level 4 closes that gap. Take it on its own, or as part of a route that starts from nothing.
Nutrition is the least regulated corner of fitness education, and a certificate on its own tells you very little about what sits behind it. Ours is a regulated Level 4, built around what you actually do when a client sits down in front of you.
Which one depends on what you already hold, and how much of the route you want to buy at once.
Nutrition coaching is where most personal trainers lose work without noticing. The client on weight-loss medication, the client in menopause, the client with a diagnosed condition, the client who just wants to know what to eat. All of them get referred on, or answered for free.
Create's route is a regulated Level 4 with applied coaching and business training built around it. You learn to tell a real finding from a good headline, coach everyday fat loss and muscle gain, work with women across the cycle and through menopause, support clients whose weight-loss medication is prescribed and supervised by a clinician, fuel endurance, strength and hybrid athletes, and know precisely where your scope ends.
Then three modules on the part nobody teaches: defining your offer, pricing it profitably, and keeping clients long enough for it to be a business rather than a side income.
The nutrition question comes up every week. You answer it carefully, from what you picked up at Level 3, and change the subject when it gets specific.
Sixteen modules across four stages, online, with real client case studies rather than exam questions. Marking within 72 hours and free resubmissions.
A second income stream that does not need another hour on the gym floor, and clients you no longer have to refer elsewhere.
Useful feedback, fast, so you are not waiting a fortnight to find out whether you got it right.
Ask a tutor a question and hear back the same working day.
Resubmit for as long as you have course access, at no extra cost.

Read the articleIf you already hold a Level 3 PT qualification, the Level 4 is the natural next step and you can skip the bridging module. If you are starting from nothing, the PT and Nutrition package gives you both and is the cheaper route to the same place.
A nutrition coach works with apparently healthy clients on food, habits and performance. A registered nutritionist has a different route and a wider remit. We are clear throughout about which one you become, and where the line sits.
No. The optional bridging module covers macronutrients, micronutrients, energy balance and the main food groups, so you can follow the rest whatever you are starting from. It is included.
Yes. You finish with the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Nutrition for Weight Management and Athletic Performance, QRN 603/5682/0, regulated by Ofqual. Create is an approved Focus Awards centre.
Yes, and three of the sixteen modules are about how. You cover defining your offer, pricing one to one, online and hybrid packages, finding clients and keeping them, so it becomes a paid service rather than free advice inside a session.
Yes. The course is studied online at your own pace, and the consultation and behaviour change work is built for remote coaching as well as in person.
No. Many learners arrive with a Level 3 PT qualification, which covers the nutrition baseline. If you do not have one, an optional bridging module brings you up to speed. It runs to around 40 hours and is not assessed.
The regulated qualification is 331 hours of Total Qualification Time. The full Create programme is around 400 hours across 16 modules, studied online at your own pace. You have 12 months of access.
You build a portfolio of evidence, assessed internally by Create and quality assured by Focus Awards. Worked assignments, real client case studies and practical coaching tasks. Marking within 72 hours, and free resubmissions for as long as you have access.
No, and no honest course can promise that. You become a qualified nutrition coach. We are always clear about what that does and does not let you do.
