Learn Pilates properly. Build the confidence to teach it with clarity, structure and purpose. Your foundation, and step one of the pathway.

The Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork is where your Pilates teaching journey begins. You'll learn the method from the ground up. Not just exercises, but the thinking behind them. How to move. How to teach. How to adapt. And how to build sessions that actually make sense for the people in front of you. This course is for people changing career, fitness professionals expanding their skill set, or anyone serious about teaching Pilates properly. You'll combine flexible online learning with hands-on workshops, guided practice and real teaching experience. By the end, you'll be ready to teach both group classes and one-to-one sessions with confidence.
Taking classes for years teaches you what good feels like in your own body. It does not teach you how to spot what is going wrong in somebody else's, or what to change when it does. That is the gap this closes.

You finish withFocus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates
On completion you gain the Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork, awarded by Focus Awards and regulated by Ofqual. It is recognised across the UK and by insurers, and it is the entry requirement for training in Reformer.
There are no formal prerequisites. You need an interest in Pilates and a willingness to practise. The course suits complete beginners, career changers and fitness professionals adding Pilates to what they offer.
You are assessed through knowledge checks across the online modules, a portfolio of work, and a practical teaching assessment where you plan and deliver a Matwork session. Tutor feedback runs throughout, with practical feedback at the workshops.
Drag the deposit and the term. Every figure updates, including the total you would pay by the end.
The only provider in the UK to offer it. Not a trial period. Not credit towards something else. Your money back.
98.8% of learners rate the course as satisfactory or better. A qualification people do not rate is not worth selling, so if the course does not do what we say it does, we should not be keeping your money.
You have 14 days from the day you enrol to change your mind, for any reason. Fully online courses keep the full 14 days. Where a course includes in-person elements and you attend one inside the 14 days, the cancellation right ends at that point.
A separate promise that applies once you have completed the course. It is not a cancellation right and it is not affected by the 14 day period. Both exist, and you do not have to choose between them.
Theory online at your own pace plus two in-person workshop blocks of guided practical teaching with expert tutors.
Useful feedback, fast, so you are not waiting a fortnight to find out whether you got it right.
Ask a tutor a question and hear back the same working day, not the same week.
Resubmit for as long as you have course access, at no extra cost. Nobody is passed before they are ready.
The people marking your work are coaching clients this week, not teaching from memory.
No cohort to keep up with and no set start date. Twelve months of access from the day you enrol.
Most people study around a job, which means evenings and weekends. Somebody is there then.
Mat is the foundation and the required first step for Reformer. If you already know you want to teach both, take the Mat + Reformer Bundle instead of enrolling twice. You qualify in both and save £499.
Mat comes first whichever route you take. The only question is whether you buy both now or later.

Mat is the foundation, the required first step for Reformer, and enough on its own to teach anywhere with nothing but a mat.
